55 Point Vehicle Inspection
The Goodyear Autocare 55 Point Vehicle Inspection is carried out on every vehicle serviced in our workshop. The inspection is designed to identify obvious issues with the integrity of your vehicle. Once inspected we are better able to make recommendations to help your vehicle perform to your expectations.

Pre-Road Test
Your car will be checked for any external damage, currency of registration and warning lights.
Road Test
The functioning of your vehicle, whilst driving, will be assessed. This will test the performance of your engine, drivetrain, brakes, wheels, tyres, clutch, transmission, CV joints, steering and suspension. A road test can often help technicians to identify noises and responses from your vehicle that indicate whether your vehicle is performing correctly.
General
Operation of components such as horn, lights, wipers, handbrake, seatbelts, steering wheel and pedals.
Under Bonnet
Our technicians will check the health of your battery, radiator, leads, drive belts, air filter, cabin filter and fuel filter. We will make sure all of your fluid levels are within specifications.
Hoist Raised
Whilst on the hoist your vehicle will be checked for oil leaks, fuel leaks, gearbox fluid levels and leaks, differential fluid levels and leaks. The condition of your drivelines, exhaust, ball joints, universal and CV joints, rod ends and rack boots, suspension bushes and arms, steering box, muffler, engine and gearbox mounts and springs will all be assessed.
Brakes
All pads, discs and drums are assessed and measured to make they sure are in a state to keep you safe. The condition of your brake fluid will also be checked and reported on.
Tyres
In order to ensure your tyres are within the legal limits the condition, wear and pressure of all tyres (including the spare) will be inspected.
You will receive any recommendations based on our findings once the inspection is complete.
